Every session plays differently because the demon changes each time, along with its hidden rules. Only the dead learn what the demon is, when it strikes and where, so the living depend entirely on the ghost’s warnings. The group must gather relics one trip at a time, with the ghost steering the living around threats they cannot see, then spell out the demon’s true name on the seance board to banish it. Dying is not the end either: players taken by the demon join the dead, adding another voice to the seance and more help finding relics. Nine floors stretch down beneath the house, each one further from sunrise than the last, and beating a floor unlocks the next.

Gameplay Features

• Communicate through the Ouija board: the ghost moves the planchette to point, answer yes or no, or slowly spell out words under pressure.
• A different demon every run: each session hides new rules, so the dead must learn the threat before the living can beat it.

• Dying lets you help: players taken by the demon join the dead and keep helping the group from the other side.
