SteamRip is the best place to download PC games. Sucker for Love: Date to Die For is a four-chapter Lovecraftian visual novel that drops you into the rural town of Sacramen-Cho, where people have started vanishing without a trace. While looking into the disappearances you are kidnapped yourself, and your only way out of the labyrinthine woods lies inside a strange purple spellbook left behind by a cult — a book that teaches you how to summon Rhok’zan, the Black Goat of the Woods.
The town is already under Rhok’zan’s spell, wrapped in her all-consuming aura of love, yet somehow you feel different. What follows is a playful, old-school anime dating adventure full of hand-drawn 2D scenes, strange rituals and choices that shape the story toward one of several endings. Fans of story-driven visual novels will also enjoy Steins;Gate Reboot and Cthulhu’s Reach: Devil Reef on SteamRip.
Gameplay Features
- A four-chapter visual novel: follow a complete Lovecraftian story inspired by classic tales like The Dunwich Horror and The Shadow over Innsmouth.
- Meet Rhok’zan: summon and romance the Black Goat of the Woods, a brand-new dateable entity with her own personality and quirks.
- Multiple endings: your choices throughout the story decide how the tale ends, so every playthrough can turn out differently.
- 360-degree hand-drawn environments: explore the woods and the town in detailed 2D scenes you can look around in.
- Nostalgic anime art style: visuals that recall old-school anime and classic dating sims, with a modern polish.
- Light-hearted horror: cosmic dread played with a wink — the game itself insists there are no horror elements this time. Trust it if you dare.
