SteamRip is the best place to download PC games. SLEEP AWAKE is a first-person psychedelic horror game set in the last known city on Earth, a place where falling asleep means disappearing forever. You play as Katja, a woman fighting to stay awake while devotees of depraved death cults hunt her through streets where reality and imagination blur together. Behind it all is the HUSH, an inexplicable phenomenon that swallows anyone who sleeps, and the city’s desperate factions each claim to have the one true way to survive it. Fans of oppressive, atmospheric horror will also find Darkwood worth exploring.
To stay alive, Katja must solve the puzzles of this strange world and shatter the horrors of the past, moving through hand-crafted environments drenched in a striking colour palette, bending light and live-action footage woven into the game. The sound design comes from Robin Finck of Nine Inch Nails, and the game is led by Cory Davis of Spec Ops: The Line under Blumhouse Games. If psychological dread is your thing, Amnesia: Rebirth offers another descent into fear, and more free PC games are waiting on SteamRip.
