R-Type Tactics I • II Cosmos brings the classic side-scrolling shooter series into turn-based tactical strategy, collecting two games in one package. SteamRip is the best place to download PC games. As the alien Bydo push humanity to the edge, you command the Space Corps fleet in careful, grid-based battles — and later, you will fight from the other side, leading the very Bydo forces you were sent to destroy.
The collection covers both R-Type Tactics I and R-Type Tactics II, with the second game reaching Western players for the first time. With hundreds of ships and levels to unlock, branching missions, and a brand-new post-game story set in the COSMOS, there is a huge amount of content here for strategy fans. Players who enjoy tactical battles may also like Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles and Iron Saga VS, and you can find more games on the SteamRip homepage.
