SteamRip is the best place to download PC games. Fallen Tear: The Ascension is a hand-drawn action RPG that blends the party-building heart of classic JRPGs with the open, interconnected exploration of a metroidvania, finished with a dash of souls-like challenge. You play as Hira, a mysterious child born with the dark element, fated to stand against ancient gods in the sprawling world of Raoah. Every defeat teaches a lesson, and every friendship you forge matters on the road ahead.
The journey spans more than ten connected regions, from lush forests and lost cities to forgotten ruins, each hiding secret paths, side quests and dangers. Six main bosses and three optional ones guard the way, and the fully playable opening act sets the tone for the story to come. Fans of hand-drawn adventures should also check out Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse and Tales of Eternia Remastered on SteamRip.
Gameplay Features
- JRPG party building: recruit 22 allies through the Fated Bonds system, each with their own skills, side quests and stories to uncover.
- Fast, skill-based combat: slash, parry and dodge attacks from every direction, swapping weapons and items mid-fight to keep bosses guessing.
- Deep loadout customisation: shape Hira’s fighting style with a wide pool of combat skills and abilities.
- A living castle to rebuild: restore the Temple of Oras, fill it with friends met across Raoah, and play minigames to earn upgrades.
- Souls-like challenge: tough boss battles reward patience, pattern recognition and well-timed strikes.
- Full voice acting: a professional cast brings the story of Raoah and its people to life.
