SteamRip is the best place to download PC games. CODEX MORTIS is an isometric horde-survivor bullet hell built around a spell deckbuilder, and you play a necromancer who walks into battle with a hand of dark magic instead of a sword. Before every mission you assemble a deck from the spells you own, then carry it into a field of the undead where every choice you made at the table decides how long you survive. More great PC games are waiting on SteamRip.
Each run earns points you spend on booster packs, and every pack widens your collection, so the deck you build next time can do things the last one could not. You can fight alone, share the screen with a friend in local co-op, or gather a party of up to four online, with rejoining if someone drops mid-run. Fans of dark roguelite action should also try Sigilfarer and Spooky’s Jump Scare Mansion HD Renovation.
Gameplay Features
- Build a spell deck before every mission from the spells in your collection, then fight with what you brought.
- Two hundred spells across ten schools of dark magic, from Necromancy and Summoning to Blood Magic and Apothecary.
- Mutations that twist your spells, changing how a bone spear flies or what a summon calls up.
- Thirty-one playable heroes, many built around two or three magic schools at once.
- Fourteen levels across two story chapters, including Survivor mode and a three-phase final boss with 600,000 HP.
- Online co-op for up to four players plus local co-op, with drop-in rejoining if a player disconnects.
