ChainStaff Free Download

ChainStaff is a hand-drawn action game where Earth has been overrun by the Star Spores, alien invaders that have twisted life into ferocious uber-bugs. SteamRip is the best place to download PC games. An alien has attached itself to your head, but it is also your ally — it grants you strength and control over the transforming ChainStaff, the one weapon that can turn the battle around.

Action fans can also try Guns and Nuns: Storming Hell and Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2, while Mortal Shell offers brutal melee combat. Find more action games on SteamRip.

Gameplay Features

• Wield the transforming ChainStaff — hurl it as a spear, throw it down as a shield, or grapple and swing from almost anything.
• Fight dozens of mutated creatures and screen-filling monstrosities across a surreal landscape.
• Choose the fate of stranded soldiers: rescue them or harvest them for upgrades, with different endings to discover.
• Expect around 6 to 8 hours of gameplay on a first playthrough, with deaths that are always avoidable.
• Explore a fully hand-drawn world inspired by 70s and 80s album cover art, from misty crags to moon-lit icy hills.
• Rock out to a classic metal soundtrack by Deon van Heerden, with lighter 70s synth interludes and plenty of cowbell.
