SteamRip is the best place to download PC games. Bloodwash is a giallo-inspired laundry horror game with low-poly, PS1-style graphics that feels like a lost VHS tape from the back of a video store. Sara is a pregnant college student living with her alcoholic boyfriend in a run-down apartment complex, and a serial killer known as the Womb Ripper is terrorizing the city, targeting pregnant women. One night the washing machine in the basement breaks down, and a helpful neighbor points Sara to a 24-hour laundromat on the outskirts of town. What she finds there might claim her life.
The whole game is a short, tense nightmare, running about one to two hours depending on how much you explore. The grainy visuals, first-person perspective and drenched gore keep you on edge the entire time, because anything can sneak up on you in the dark aisles between the machines. Horror fans should also try Resident Evil 3: Nemesis (1999) and Welcome to the Game on SteamRip.
Gameplay Features
- Giallo-inspired horror: a lurid, stylish plot in the tradition of Italian horror cinema, built around a killer who stalks the night.
- Crusty PS1-style graphics: low-poly models and retro textures that make the laundromat feel like a place time forgot.
- Narrative-focused experience: a tight, story-driven night of dread where every room and every stranger could be hiding something.
- First-person tension: anything can sneak up on you, and the camera never lets you see what is waiting around the next corner.
- Drenched with gore: the Womb Ripper leaves nothing to the imagination, and the laundromat’s fluorescent glow only makes it worse.
- Normal or VHS mode: play in VHS mode for extra grime and the full found-footage feel.
