ADVANCED opens up the core with layered and spaced arrays, reactive armour packs and per-layer energy accounting, reporting the ballistic limit, wear fraction and residual velocity for every plate the rod passes through. ULTRA is a genuine continuum solver running a Lagrangian mesh with Johnson-Cook plasticity, and it takes minutes to produce a single impact — but the crater shape falls out of the physics, not out of an artist’s drawing. There is not a single hit point anywhere in ArmorSim: every outcome comes from published models driven by real material properties, and every material constant carries a source you can open and check.
